Under normal circumstances, Driftwood’s people welcome shipwrecks. Cargo washing up to shore usually offers villagers a windfall. But things seem a little different this time…
Driftwood has other things to worry about beyond sifting through the rubbish on the shore. See, god-bothering zealots have come to the village with the sole intent of turning everyone into faithful members of their flock. The priests distract the locals from an even greater danger—they have no idea that something horrifying has washed up to threaten them all. Luckily, some heroes happen upon the village. Can they step in and save the people from the doom that has come to their door?
Doom Comes to Driftwood offers a challenging quest for expert characters in the Shadow of the Weird Wizard game. In it, the characters navigate the intrigues in the community, contend with a curse, and—if brave enough—confront the evil in the Sea of Fear. If the characters succeed, they can save the seaside village. Should they fail, they enable a vile threat to spread beyond the coast and engulf all the borderlands!
